Here’s a pretty decent video review on one of my favorite guns from Taurus, the 24/7 Pro G2, 9mm semi-automatic. I’ve owned a number of guns from Taurus and have never had a problem. Let me correct that, this gun was purchased as a dealer demo and when I got it, it would malfunction after just a few rounds. The cap on the rear of the slide where the striker indicator pokes through would slip down a bit and block the striker mechanism from working. On closer ispection, it appeared as though someone had taken a screwdriver and monkeyed around with the slide cap as the plastic was clearly scratched. A call to Taurus had a new cap on its way in no time and after installing the new cap, I’ve not had a single problem. The G2 pistol is that latest incarnation of the 24/7 Pro line from Taurus and is available in 9mm, .40S&W, and .45ACP. The 9mm holds 17 rounds in the magazine, has a 4.2 inch steel barrel (3.5 inches on the compact), polymer frame with interchangable backstraps and indexing points molded in. The 24/7 G2 is double action/single action, striker fired, and features an ambidextrous safety/decocker (a nice feature on a striker-fired gun). Check out the Taurus 24/7 Pro G2 pistol here!
