Real nice video review of the brand new SR22 semi-automatic pistol from Ruger. The SR22 has been flying off the shelves since its introduction earlier this year. After watching the video, it’s become clear as to why this gun is so popular. The Ruger SR22 Pistol is chambered in .22LR, holds 10 rounds in the magazine, and for all intents and purposes, looks and feels like a standard sized semi-automatic pistol. This sharp looking handgun has a polymer frame, aluminum slide, an interchangeable grip and interchangeable base plates for the magazines. The SR22 also features 3 dot sights, ambidextrous safety and magazine release controls, and a double action/single action trigger. If you want one of these guns I would suggest getting it while you can. Check out the Ruger SR22 pistol here!
Review and shooting test of the new Ruger SR22 pistol, .22 LR. Overview of the pistol includes closeups of all the working features; dimensions, safety/decocker, mag release, sight system, double/single action, and field strip. Shooting test includes a variety of ammo from 30 to 60 feet.
This pistol was released to the market the first week of January 2012. Retail is $399; my cost was $330 via a licensed dealer, plus background check fee and state tax. With all of that this still went out the door at well below the retail price.
Future videos with the SR22 will include long range shooting and ammo tests.
