Here’s another nice video on cross-draw holsters from Lee Laster and Expert Village. Lee talks about the cross-draw holster which is not very common as a carry option but there are those who prefer this type of carry. Cross-draw holsters are exactly as they sound, a holster placed on the support side requiring the strong side hand to cross over the body to draw the gun. Shoulder holsters are essentially a type of cross-draw holster but when using the term cross-draw we are usually referring to a holster sitting on the hip. These holsters require practice just like any other type of carry system in order to become proficient. Check out a variety of holsters here!
