Here’s a nice review of the Beretta Model 84F Cheetah .380ACP semi-automatic pistol. The Cheetah appears outwardly to be a scaled down version of the Model 92 but closer inspection reveals some differences. Most obviously, the Model 92 is chambered in 9mm while the Model 84F, or Cheetah, is chambered in .380ACP (aka 9mm short, 9mm kurtz, 9mm Browning). The Beretta 84F also features a frame mounted safety as opposed to the slide mounted safety on the Model 92 and adds a decocking function as well. The Cheetah also features a magazine disconnect that disables the trigger when there is no magazine in the gun. Check out the Beretta Model 84F Cheetah pistol here!
A description of another excellent Beretta, the 84F. It is also sometimes called the Cheetah. Caliber is .380 ACP, 13 rnd magazine
