Nice video comparison of the Glock 26 and Sig Sauer P239. This comparison focuses mainly on the virtues of each of these guns as a CCW (concealed carry weapon) choice. The Glock is a .40S&W and the Sig Sauer is a 9mm so head to head as far as knockdown power and all the other 9mm vs .40S&W arguments there is no way to do an unbiased comparison. Looking at these handguns as CCW options however allows comparison based on size and capacity. These pistols are similar in slide length but vastly different in grip length. The Sig Sauer P239 is longer and allows the shooter to get his/her fingers around the grip. The Glock 26 has a very compact and short grip that requires your pinkie to kind of hoover in mid air. Most people say they become comfortable with this after a short time. The Sig Sauer utilizes a single stack magazine in its longer grip while the Glock uses a double stack magazine in it short grip. There is only a 1 round difference between the two. Take a look at the Sig Sauer P239 here, or the Glock 26 here!
A comparison of two outstanding firearms.
